Creating a Thriving Workplace Culture

In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, we realize the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at The Boulevard Senior Living of St. Peters, we understand to achieve this culture, employees must trust their workplace.

Each August, The Boulevard St. Peters participates in the Great Place to Work Survey. This is a time where staff can be open and honest about their feedback. The data is collected by a third party, so it truly is anonymous. It is so important for us to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly to know what we can work on to truly make our community a great place to work.

As the Assistant Executive Director, I prioritize promoting employee appreciation. I make it a point to recognize our hard-working team members. We offer incentives and rewards to acknowledge their hard work and achievements, whether through bonuses, shout-outs, or other perks.

We celebrate both small and large accomplishments, from simple gifts to team events. My goal is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and respected.

We believe when done right, making work a fun place creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
